How far is the facility from the centre? And from the ski slopes?
The hotel is about 1 km from the beginning of the pedestrian zone in Fontana Street: a ten-minute walk. Skiing is already possible behind the Astra Hotel! There is the ski lift 18 of Carosello 3000.
How can I book a room? Is a deposit required? Which payment methods do you accept?
Reservations can be made via website, telephone or email. A deposit of 30% of the total is usually required for stays of 3 nights or more, 50% for stays of 2 nights or 100% for stays of just one night. We accept payment by credit card, bank transfer, PayPal and Satispay.
What are the cancellation terms?
Up to 14 days before arrival no penalty is charged, the deposit is returned. For cancellations from 14 to 3 days prior to arrival the deposit is not refunded. From 2 days prior to arrival 100% of the stay is charged. In case of no-show, late arrival or early departure 100% of the stay is also charged. On cancellations with refund of the deposit, € 15,00 are retained for administration costs.
What time are check in and check out?
Check-in is from 3 P.M. Check-out by 11:00 A.M.
Is breakfast included?
Yes, of course, breakfast is included.
Is there the possibility of half or full board?
This possibility varies depending on the period of stay, it’s therefore advisable to check the availability with the facility. The La Piöda restaurant is however always open for lunch/dinner à la carte.
Does the hotel have a parking?
The hotel has both an outdoor car park and a garage, which is always included in the price.
Can I bring my dog?
Pets are allowed, also in the common areas: there is a supplement of € 10,00 per night.
Are there no-smoking rooms?
All rooms are no-smoking.
Is it possible to have a cot for my baby?
Yes, it is possible to have a cot on request and we charge an additional fee of € 10,00 per night.
Is access to the wellness area included in the rate?
Access to the wellness area is always included in the rate.
I am coeliac, vegetarian, lactose intolerant: do you have special menus?
Our kitchen is always ready to meet your requests and offer alternatives for any intolerance or allergy. Please mention this when making your reservation.
Do you have agreements with schools and ski hires?
We don’t have any agreement with ski schools, but we have a rental agreement that gives a 10% discount to our guests.
Do you organise activities?
The reception is always available and helpful in booking activities. However, the hotel doesn’t offer any of its own.
Do you have agreements with baths/spas?
The Astra Hotel has an agreement with the Aquagranda wellness centre in Livigno. You will have discounts by buying your entrance tickets directly at the reception.
How can I reach you by public transport?
Directly next to the hotel is the “Skilift 18” bus stop.
